Table Booking FAQ’s

Do I Need To Book?

No, if you want to be spontaneous and join us for some food or just drinks, please do pop in and we will always do our best to accommodate you. However, to avoid disappointment we recommend booking in advance for either food or drinks.

Why Do You Need My Card Details?

For parties larger than 4, and on busier periods we do ask for a card to confirm and guarantee your reservation. Don’t worry, this won’t be charged upon booking and is only stored in our system. If you do however miss your booking, or cancel with less than 12 hours notice, a cancellation/no show charge will be made at £5 per person.

How Do I Change/Cancel My Booking?

On the top of the confirmation email in relation to your booking you’ll find a link where you can modify or cancel your booking. Alternatively, you can call our reservation team. If you’re running a bit late don’t worry, we always hold table bookings for 15 minutes.

Our Booking Is For a Celebration, Can I Bring Decorations?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring balloons etc. However we do not allow table confetti or glitter, this includes confetti filled balloons.

Can I Bring A Birthday Cake?

Yes, you’re more than welcome to bring your own cake. Please don’t forget to bring your own candles as we can’t always guarantee we have them. If you wanted to drop this off before your party, feel free to bring it in before hand and we can bring it out when asked.

Do You Allow Dogs?

Yes! We love dogs, permitting they’re well behaved and don’t ruin any of our other guests experience… but that goes for our human guests also!

How Long Will I Have My Table For?

During book we allow you to select your own visit length.  Please check your booking confirmation for your table time or ask our team. However, if your table isn’t reserved following your booking, you are of course more than welcome to stay. Unfortunately, if your table is booked immediately after we won’t be able to extend your visit past your allotted time.

Can I Walk Up And Place My Order At The Bar?

To allow you to enjoy more time with your friends and family we will continue to provide table service for food and drink orders throughout our pub and garden to save you having to wait at the bar. However, should you wish to place your order at the bar yourself you are welcome to do so.

Room Booking FAQ’s

WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK IN?

Check-in is available from 14:30 everyday. Depending on availability, we may be able to offer an earlier check-in. If we are unable to provide an earlier check-in, we can store your luggage until your room is ready.

WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO CHECK OUT?

Check-out is 11am. Our bar area opens for Brunch from 10am and you are more than welcome to join us for Brunch. If you are ready to checkout before 10am, you can leave your key in your room and leave by the Out Of Hours Exit.

DO YOU HAVE WIFI?

We have free wifi available.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

Unfortunately, we do not have on site parking, however there is a free carpark located just over the road behind the new leisure centre on Gas House Lane.
This car park is all day and requires no disc or payment, however it does get locked at 6pm until 8am the following morning. Cars left there are safely locked in but it means you cannot access your car during these hours.
Alternatively, there are other disc parking car parks throughout Morpeth with the closest being behind Lidl supermarket. This gives you 3 hours free parking, and is free all night from 6pm until 8am the following morning.

DO I NEED TO BOOK FOR FOOD?

During busier periods especially weekends, we cannot always guarantee a table in our bar area.  Table reservations are always recommended to guarantee a table. We have an amazing selection of theatrical signature cocktails and delicious street food dishes, so why not indulge on your stay with us?

HOW DO I ENTER WHEN THE BAR IS CLOSED?

Access to our rooms through the bar staircase is available from 10am-10pm daily. Outside of these hours, you can come and go as you please using the Out Of Hours exit which brings you out of the back of the venue. To reenter, you will need a key fob which is given to you at check-in.

DO YOU SERVE BREAKFAST?

We do not serve breakfast. We do have a Brunch offering available when our bar opens from 10am until 12pm.

IS THERE AN IRON?

Iron’s and ironing boards are available and are located on the top floor in the ironing cupboard. You are free to take these to your room, or ask a member of the team and we will bring one to your door.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

For all bookings we require prepayment. Deposits are charged and taken at the time of booking for the amount of the first nights stay. This is refundable up to 14 days before your booking. If you cancel after this time, sadly you will lose the deposit. Payment for the full amount will be taken a few days before your arrival.

Package Booking FAQ’s

Can I just Turn Up?

For our Bottomless packages we do require a prebooking, and sadly we cannot accommodate packages on the day. This is to ensure we deliver the best experience possible.

Can I Pay On Arrival?

We require payment upon booking, this is to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible. You can cancel or modify your booking for a full refund up to 24 hours before.

Can I Pick Different Drinks?

Sadly, we can only include the specific drinks for each package. We’ve tried enough choice so there is something for everyone.

How Do I Change/Cancel My Booking?

How Long Will I Have My Table For?

We allocate 2.5 hours for all Bottomless packages, this is to make sure you have enough time for a great catch up. This will begin with 60 minutes of unlimited drinks, but you are free to stay and order and pay for more once your hour has completed.

Why do you need my food choices?

To make sure we can deliver the best experience possible, and to make things run swiftly on the day of booking we ask for menu choices in advance. You will select your dishes during the booking process. Should you need to change any choices, please contact a member of the team at hello@auctionhousemorpeth.co.uk

I don't drink, do you do an alcohol free version?

We offer an alcohol free option for a discounted price of £20 (Bottomless Brunch) or £30 (Bottomless Birdcage). You can select this option during the booking process. These will include bottomless mocktails, post mix soft drinks and tea’s and coffee.

Gift Card FAQs

How long are they valid for?

Our gift cards expire 1 year after their original purchase date.

Do You Post Gift Cards?

Sadly, we do not ship our gift cards. You can schedule an e-voucher to email your loved one with a digital card, or please feel free to drop into any of our venues and collect one.

Can they be used against your packages?

Out gift cards can be used against our Bottomless packages. However, if you wish to redeem your card against a package, please contact us here with your voucher number and we will convert this into a promo code which will discount your voucher amount against a package online when booking.

Can I redeem them against rooms?

Yes, our Gift cards can be redeemed against any of our rooms, at any of our venues. To do this, simply give the venue a call and explain you will be paying with a gift card and we will book your stay direct.

What are the benefits of an E-Gift Card?

By sending an e-giftcard, the recipient has access to their gift card via their phone. This can be added to their mobile phone’s ‘wallet’ and redeemed in part whenever is convenient for them. You can also schedule email delivery for any date you would like so you don’t forget.

I've lost my gift voucher

If you have accidentally lost your gift card, please contact a member of the team at hello@hotelsinternational.co.uk, we will need as much detail as possible including the purchasers name and date of purchase. We can then reissue you a card for the outstanding balance.

Do I get change?

You can use your gift card in as many transactions as you like. We will redeem the outstanding amount to cover the cost of your bill, and any remaining balance stays on your card for next time. Please note, gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
